At CleverKitchen, our goal is to give home cooks advice they can trust. This editorial policy explains how we research, write, and maintain our content.
How We Research
Every guide is built on research. We study manufacturer specifications, compare competing products, and analyze verified customer feedback and expert commentary from across the web. We look for patterns in how products actually perform over time — durability, ease of cleaning, consistency of results — not just marketing claims.
Editorial Independence
Our recommendations are independent. Manufacturers and retailers cannot pay for a higher ranking, for inclusion in a guide, or for favorable coverage. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products we feature or how we describe them.
Accuracy and Corrections
We work hard to keep our information accurate and up to date. Prices, specifications, and availability change, so we review and refresh our guides regularly. If you spot an error, email [email protected] and we will investigate and correct it promptly.
How We Choose Products
We focus on products that are widely available and well reviewed, then narrow the list based on performance, build quality, safety, ease of use, and value. We remove products that do not fit the topic of a guide, and we will not pad a list with weak or overpriced options just to reach a number. Details are in our Review Methodology.
Who Writes for Us
Every guide on CleverKitchen is written by a named author who researches kitchen products before recommending them. Our lead reviewer is Daniel Carter, a kitchen product expert specializing in cookware, kitchen gadgets, and small appliances. You can learn more about our writers on the Authors page. Every article is reviewed for clarity, accuracy, and usefulness before publication.
